I am a stranger and a bit strange myself but would love to join you on a day trip. My name is Jon, i live in Kaysville and lack the confidence of going at it alone....let me know. I saw several signs for the U-Dig operation that you did awhile ago, so I must have been pretty close to them. When do I get to see the pictures from Deseret Peak?TK421https://www.blogger.com/profile/17840234551821423029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866903923681224940.post-37094055011209161512008-11-06T06:37:00.000-07:002008-11-06T06:37:00.000-07:00Sam,Good to hear from you. But I've learned that everyplace has it's pros (I'd trade a mountain climbing trip for a good Indian restaurant any day). I haven't met anyone around here willing to do one of these trips with me, Most people around here only get out in the back country to hunt or ride their 4 wheelers around in circles. Be sure to let us know if your going to be in SLC over any of the holidays - we need to catch up.TK421https://www.blogger.com/profile/17840234551821423029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4866903923681224940.post-78306478013624768942008-11-05T22:25:00.000-07:002008-11-05T22:25:00.000-07:00Fantastic shots of those cliffs. Pictures from Torrey, Fruita Falls, and Calf Creek reminded me of growing up, my grandparents had a place in Torrey we'd visit at least once a year with all of the cousins. I'm jealous about your Notch Peak trip, I've wanted to climb that for years but for some reason always assumed I had to find someone to go with me. Guess I'll take a lesson from you and start doing those trips alone if no one else is interested. Talk to you later, tell susie and the girls hi for us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
