Ashdown Gorge II

I lead a Boy Scout hike down through Ashdown Gorge a couple of weeks ago. Man, I forgot what a great hike it is--and so close to home. It was hard for me to believe that these kids (or any of their parents or other leaders for that matter) had never done this hike before.

This was my second time through the gorge. The first time through I put in a couple of extra miles going up to the old sawmill sites, plus, I rode my bike back up to Cedar Breaks after the hike making a pretty long day with little time for pictures. This time I was able to relax and snap away. Enjoy the highlights:
